What is Agent Elvis about?
Agent Elvis is exactly how it sounds. The United States government recruits Elvis Presley (voiced by Matthew McConaughey) to protect the country from threats.
Where and when can I watch Agent Elvis?
Agent Elvis will be streaming on Netflix and premiers on March 17th, 2023.
What’d we see in the trailer?
A whole lot of chaos. Elvis adjusted to his life as a secret agent, finding himself in harm’s way on multiple occasions. Yes, he has a team of people around him to help however Elvis too seems to find ways to get into some trouble. Plus anyway to incorporate Elvis’ music into anything is alright, alright, alright with me.
Why am I/you should be excited about Agent Elvis?
This looks like a fever dream from Archer and I am here for it. The animation style is unique, the action is jam-packed, and the cast is stacked. Along with McConaughey, Don Cheadle, Kaitlin Olson, Johnny Knoxville, Christina Hendrix, Niecy Nash, and Priscilla Presley lend their voices. The comedy style is right up my alley too and I’m hoping for something fun a la Bubba Ho-Tep. I’m cautiously excited because Netflix is in dire need of a 2023 hit to get back on the radar for streaming services.
