Welcome to coming attractions! This series is where I’ll be analyzing a trailer for a TV show and let you know why I’m excited or nervous about the show! What is Ahsoka?
Ahsoka features Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson), a Jedi and rebel from The Mandalorian universe.
Where and when can I watch Ahsoka?
Ahsoka will be streaming on Disney+ in August 2023.
What’d we see in the trailer?
Very ominous words from Ahsoka Tano about something dark coming. It appears as if she is looking for something. She mentioned the return of Thrawn, whom I know nothing about since the Star Wars canon is evolving on a daily basis it seems. We see a lot of acrobatic lightsaber moves, which I love seeing. Along with various colored lightsabers, we also see a bunch of characters I know nothing about.
Why am I/you should be excited about Ahsoka?
Ahsoka Tano is one of the more fascinating characters to come out of the Star Wars Rebels animated series. She has a lot of rich history and a lot of fascinating stories in front of her. Dawson’s appearance in The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett further solidified the focus Lucas Films has on the character. I’ve enjoyed just about everything Dawson is in so I’m just looking forward to supporting her in a great role.
