What is Citadel about?
Citadel is a spy agency loyal to no nation. After the collapse, two agents (Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra Jonas) struggle to regain their memories to solve what happened, who they are, and what they do moving forward.
Where and when can I watch Citadel?
Citadel will be streaming on Amazon Prime and will be released starting on Friday, April 28th, 2023.
What’d we see in the trailer?
Two agents are struggling to figure out who they are. Chopra Jonas claims to have only seen Madden in a dream. Sweet Dreams by Eurythmics plays in the background. Lots of stunts, lots of action, and lots of sexiness between both agents. Stanley Tucci is there to help make sense of the situation.
Why am I/you should be excited about Citadel?
I’m really intrigued by the story. This feels like sleeper agents trying to be reawoken. I also appreciate the lack of loyalty to a particular nation so everything is up in the air. Madden and Chopra Jonas look stunning as always. The action looks fantastic. Having the Russo Brothers of MCU fame involved certainly helps.
