Welcome to coming attractions! This series is where I’ll be analyzing a trailer for a TV show and let you know why I’m excited or nervous about the show! This will also allow you to get excited about the show and give you a chance to read up on the show or catch up on seasons you missed! TV shows are getting more and more trailers so thankfully getting sneak previews is becoming increasingly common for TV shows!
Our latest trailer is Class of ‘09!
What is Class of ‘09?
Class of ‘09 is about an exceptional class of FBI cadets that were brought together through a program to recruit new and unlikely agents. The series follows a group of four friends Tayo (Brian Tyree Henry), Ashley (Kate Mara), Hour (Sepideh Moafi), and Lennix (Brian J. Smith). It follows them through the years where they go from Quantico to rising up the FBI ranks to the grizzled vets.
Where and when can I watch Class of ‘09?
Class of ‘09 is streaming on Hulu in partnership with FX and will release the first two episodes on Wednesday, May 10th. The series will be eight episodes.
What’d we see in the trailer?
The trailer starts with some of them being recruited into the FBI. They mention why they applied to be part of the FBI and what they’re looking forward to. We see clips of basic training and the group coming together as a clique in the training class. Then, we see their gradual progression within the FBI as they start to make inroads toward making a career out of it. There appears to be a mystery of some sort that looks to involves this group or something regarding the FBI.
Why am I/you should be excited about Class of ‘09?
The performers in this are what’s selling me. Tyree Henry and Mara alone make this a must-watch. Having FX’s backing certainly helps, even if some of their series as of late haven’t been that great. The story is intriguing enough too.
