The Rocky Franchise
This is one of the longest and most successful franchises in the history of cinema. Ryan Coogler injected plenty of life back into this beloved franchise with his directorial effort Creed. The story of this abandoned boy turned boxing champion is inspiring. Despite being the first film in the franchise without the beloved Rocky Balboa, Creed III brings back Adonis Creed who has grown so much on the audiences over the past two films. I cannot wait to see him back in action again.
Michael B. Jordan
Jordan has killed it in the role of Adonis Creed in the previous two films but he has something special planned for this latest entry in the franchise. He is stepping behind the camera to deliver his first feature directorial effort. This is an exciting prospect for such a talented actor. The energy and intensity that he brings to his performances is an exciting prospect to see how he channels that into this upcoming film. What has he picked up from Coogler and other directors he has collaborated with? Hopefully, he can follow in the footsteps of Eastwood and become the next great actor turned director.
Jonathan Majors
Who is the hottest and most exciting actor in Hollywood right now? Probably Pedro Pascal BUT Jonathan Majors is a very close second. Coming off amazing work in his most efforts, he looks like an absolute beast in the most recent trailers. The Rocky franchise enjoys some recycling of ideas and themes and Majors looks to kill it as the “Clubber Lang” type antagonist of this third entry of the Creed franchise. We are all chomping at the bit to see him colliding with Michael B. Jordan.
