Welcome to coming attractions! This series is where I’ll be analyzing a trailer for a TV show and let you know why I’m excited or nervous about the show! This will also allow you to get excited about the show and give you a chance to read up on the show or catch up on seasons you missed! TV shows are starting to get more and more trailers so thankfully getting sneak previews is becoming increasingly common for TV shows!
Our latest trailer is Daisy Jones and the Six!
What is Daisy Jones and the Six about?
Daisy Jones and the Six follows the rise of the 70s band as they strive to be music icons in a time when rock n’ roll reigns supreme. Daisy (Riley Keough) and her other bandmates including Billy (Sam Claflin) navigate their origins and rise. Daisy Jones and the Six is also based on the New York Times best seller by Taylor Jenkins Reid.
Where and when can I watch Daisy Jones and the Six?
The miniseries can be streamed on Amazon Prime and releases on March 3rd, 2023, with the first three episodes being available immediately.
What’d we see in the trailer?
Right off the bat, we hear some amazing music and see the band struggling with recording their future first hit. We continue to see what happens when their song becomes a sensation. Billy appears to be in a relationship with Camila (Camila Morrone), who grows increasingly jealous of Billy and Daisy’s budding chemistry together.
Why am I/you should be excited about Daisy Jones and the Six?
I have read that the story is loosely based on Fleetwood Mac. If you know anything about their story, it is fascinating. I love Keough’s past work so I’m looking forward to seeing her step further into the spotlight. I’m really digging the 1970s vibe from the trailers, but the thing I’m looking forward to the most is the music.
