We are promised a bigger, bolder, and more dangerous affair that will pit John Wick against The High Table itself. This latest entry in the John Wick franchise promises even more globe-trotting and unique elements of this clandestine and crime-centric world.
The Payoff
This has been a long time coming, right? We have been waiting to find out how John Wick can finally escape this nightmare that he has found himself in. Each step has taken John closer to danger and death. It all started over a dog and a car but John does not. John seeks escape and a real future. He must take one the chosen watchdog of The High Table and see what happens in a fateful duel. Only one can survive and that promises plenty of tension and suspense along the way. This is set to be a satisfying next step in the mythos of John Wick and we all couldn’t be more excited about that prospect.
The Action
How many films or franchises can you name with better action than John Wick? Next to none. Chad Stahelski has amazed and thrilled tons of people with his franchise of films and this one is his biggest and boldest yet. The action from the trailers is some of the most thrilling I have seen ever put on screen. The set pieces seem varied and compelling. New elements are thrown in like new characters, new weapons, and motivations making this action more exciting. This film’s promise of unique experiences in regard to how the actions play out and are presented makes this one of the most anticipated action films of all time.
The New Cast
Are Keanu Reeves, Ian McShane, and Laurence Fishburne not enough for you? If so, John Wick: Chapter 4 certainly has you covered. Martial arts legend, Donnie Yen, joins the fray as a blind assassin with his target set on Wick. How cool is that? Professional baddie Bill Skarsgard takes the reins as the main antagonist with a singular mission…kill John Wick. Throw in some great talents like Hiroyuki Sanada, Shamier Anderson, and Scott Adkins, and there is plenty to be excited about with this fruitful and luscious world of cool characters.
