That is what Mission: Impossible is known for and why this is one of the greatest franchises of all time. And there is a new one! Of course, we are excited.

Is there are a bigger star in the world than Tom Cruise? The age of true movie stars that sell movies with their names is almost over. But there is one star who studios and audiences can count on. Cruise. He is one of the most committed performers in the whole industry. The stunts he does are incredible and awe-inspiring. He is one of the most charismatic screen presences in the industry. He knows what projects to take and what will speak to the audience. That is why Mission: Impossible is a must-see.
The Stunts
What is the first question we ask ourselves when a new mission is coming? What the heck will Cruise accomplish next in the stunts department? The Dead Reckoning – Part I trailer certainly got attention when we saw Cruise ride a bike off a cliff and fly! Throw in plenty of combat, shootouts, car chases, and Cruise running, and you have yourself an action thriller worth every single second. You know it is real and that brings the most unique truth and weight that few action franchises can boast.
The Cast
Who else but Cruise? So many! We get the gang back together with Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, and franchise MVP Rebecca Ferguson back on the mission with Ethan Hunt. But the newly acquired Hayley Atwell looks to impress after her time with Marvel. The villains look intimidating in the hands of Esai Morales and Pom Klementieff. Throw in a few smaller roles for the returning Vanessa Kirby, Shea Whigham, Cary Elwes, Indira Varma, and OG cast member Henry Czerny and you have an incredible ensemble to rival the stunts and action.
The Story
This must be an epic tale if it needs two parts, right? This latest mission for the IMF looks to be darker and more intense than ever. The stakes are higher and the lives of every member of the team seem to be at risk. But this narrative centered around AI evolving to alarming levels is just the relevant and unnerving basis for the audience to sink their teeth into. Bring on what might be the best of an already incredible franchise!
