Welcome to coming attractions! This series is where I’ll be analyzing a trailer for a TV show and let you know why I’m excited or nervous about the show! This will also allow you to get excited about the show and give you a chance to read up on the show or catch up on seasons you missed! TV shows are starting to get more and more trailers so thankfully getting sneak previews is becoming increasingly common for TV shows!

What is Silo about?
Silo takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where people live in a giant underground silo. When someone in the silo mysteriously dies, an engineer named Juliette (Rebecca Ferguson) begins to uncover secrets long thought to be buried. It’s based on the set of novels by Hugh Howey.
Where and when can I watch Silo?
Silo is set to premiere its first season on Apple TV+ on May 6th, 2023.
What’d we see in the trailer?
The trailer shows a group of residents living their lives in the silo. There are a lot of shots of people living their “regular” lives in the silo along with shots of people looking concerned about something. There are a lot of questions about why the silo has the rules that they have along with some skepticism about what exactly is going on in the silo. It feels like a pretty typical post-apocalyptic community problem.
Why am I/you should be excited about Silo?
The visuals are stunning for the series. The concept is interesting. What really has me excited about Silo is the cast. Ferguson alone is a draw, but we also have Tim Robbins, Common, David Oyelowo, Will Patton, and Iain Glen. Graham Yost (who created the show Justified) is the creator of the series so I’m excited to see what he brings to the table. Apple TV+ has been hit or miss with novel adaptations recently so I’m crossing my fingers for the best.
