Everything Everywhere All at Once took the world by storm. Even Into the Spider-Verse brought others from different universes into Miles Morales’ world. But Across the Spider-Verse promises a giant adventure into plenty of amazing worlds. How can’t you be excited for this sequel?
The Vast Comic References
I am not the biggest comic book reader. I have read some of the most iconic runs in comics from Old Man Logan to Infinity War to The Dark Knight Returns. But I have never read a Spider-Man comic book. But looking at the immense number of characters and references I have seen from just the trailers of this film; I want to read every single copy of every single run of this iconic hero. How can’t you be excited for this sequel?
The Cast
First off, the cast of Into the Spider-Verse was one of the best around. BUT they bring so many of them back but add even more incredible talent right on top. Oscar Isaac…Issa Rae…Andy Samberg…Jason Schwartzman…Daniel Kaluuya…AND MORE. I probably cannot even tell you, everyone, because it is almost guaranteed that there will be plenty of surprises along the way. How can’t you be excited for this sequel?
The Story
What is Miles tasked with for this great adventure? He gets brought into a grand society of Spider-Man from across the Multiverse. That is fascinating to even think about. But when a new threat puts him at odds with them and puts the lives of his loved ones at risk…what will Miles do? THAT is a great story. How can’t you be excited for this sequel?
The Animation
Just look at the trailer. Just look at the posters. Just look at the stills. This must be one of the most beautiful, inventive, and creative animated films of all time. Each new world has a new animation style that is ready to wow your eyes beyond comprehension. This is a piece of moving art that is meant to be experienced on the biggest screen possible. How can’t you be excited for this sequel?!?!
