Welcome to coming attractions! This series is where I’ll be analyzing a trailer for a TV show and let you know why I’m excited or nervous about the show! This will also allow you to get excited about the show and give you a chance to read up on the show or catch up on seasons you missed! TV shows are starting to get more and more trailers so thankfully getting sneak previews is becoming increasingly common for TV shows!
Our latest trailer is The Bear season two!
What is The Bear about?
The Bear is about a fine chef Carmy (Jeremy Allen White) inheriting his brother’s sandwich shop in Chicago. With the shop, he inherits a staff that doesn’t agree with his methods and family issues that jeopardize everything that he worked for. Along the way, an aspiring chef named Sydney (Ayo Edebiri) helps Carmy with a new vision of what the culinary arts are capable of.
Where and when can I watch The Bear?
The first season of The Bear is streaming on Hulu and season two premiers in June 2023. No idea how the episodes are going to be released.
Where is the story currently (Spoilers ahead)?
Carmy, after some bumps in the road, finally gets the restaurant up to speed. There was drama and tension, but everyone eventually sees his vision. Sydney struggles with her role and ends up quitting, only for Carmy to ask her to come back. After a rather strange discovery of a cash infusion, Carmy decides to close the restaurant for good and forge his own path. He names the restaurant The Bear.
What’d we see in the trailer?
It’s a teaser trailer so not a whole lot happens. We see the staff packing up the restaurant and prepping for the next restaurant.
Why am I/you should be excited about The Bear season two?
The Bear was the sleeper hit of 2022 for me. I like the direction that the show went in, even if the ending was a bit over the top. White is cleaning up during award season and season two hopefully will continue the upward trajectory for the show.
